Message from the Chairman

The Betterment of Life Foundation has been established by a group of like minded people who see the need and the benefit of an institutional framework to extend a helping hand to those in need. It seeks to undertake educational, cultural, humanitarian and charitable activities devoid of any political or religious affiliation to ensure a better quality of life for the people. The Foundation will focus primarily on assisting vulnerable groups of people such those in need of medical facilities and attention, children who do not have adequate parental or financial support and the aged. It seeks to provide educational and employment opportunities to talented young people so that they can in turn assist other in the community to better their lives. The Foundation will also focus on the needs that we all have to develop our human potential, well being, and have peace in our lives.

It is our belief that we do not need to wait until we have “enough” ourselves, to be able to give. “Giving” is a wonderful concept and can be a life long process. All of us have benefited from the helping hands that have come our way as we strived to gain a better education and progress in our careers and lives. It is now our turn to give a hand to those who come after us.

The Foundation hopes to come up with projects and activities which will reach out to individuals and corporate entities so that that we can all contribute in our own way, at our own time, to better our own lives and those around us.
