Message from the Chairman
The Betterment of Life Foundation has been established by a group of like minded people who see the need and the benefit of an institutional framework to extend a helping hand to those in need. It seeks to undertake educational, cultural, humanitarian and charitable activities devoid of any political or religious affiliation to ensure a better quality of life for the people. The Foundation will focus primarily on assisting vulnerable groups of people such those in need of medical facilities and attention, children who do not have adequate parental or financial support and the aged.
Objectives
- To assist people to understand, realize and achieve their natural potential for a productive and self-sufficient life through the provision of basic needs, skills development, and cultural and spiritual enrichment.
- To establish and support homes for orphaned and under privileged children and provide them the basic necessities to achieve a productive life.
- To provide assistance and scholarship to students, including mature age students to complete their studies, develop life skills, and engage in productive employment.
- To provide educational and employment opportunities to talented young people so that they can better their life and in turn assist others in their community to better their lives.
